NDIS Services
Our services tailored for NDIS clients (but can also be accessed by non-NDIS clients, too!).
NDIS Clients can benefit from therapeutic nutritional modifications.
All NDIS programs start with a full, initial clinical consultation with the client and/or their family members/caregivers. This helps build the foundation for recommendations, 1:1 workshops and structure of our time together.
From the initial consult, everything is personalised for the individual client and creative ways of including therapeutic nutrition practices within each session, without necessarily being the focus of each session.
Many different conditions benefit from therapeutic nutrition and many NDIS client needs are no different. Pain, behaviour, focus, concentration, mood, sleep etc. are all influenced by what we eat. Letās find the right eating pattern for you or your loved one.
Three main goals underpin all services:
Confidence
Creativity
COmpassion
Cooking and Pantry Audits
Pantry audits are the fundamental first step in setting up a system and pantry full of the best options available. With the health of the client being at the foundation of all recommendations, setting up a pantry that meets those needs makes it so much easier to create in the kitchen.
Cooking instruction time is a great way to help learn flexible cooking skills and get comfortable making food at home. Building confidence in the kitchen helps improve health while saving money and time.
Shopping Trips
Personalised shopping trips to help guide clients through the supermarket. Keeping things simple and straightforward helps cut out the confusion and overwhelm around all of the food and food-like products.
Best done after a pantry audit.
Continuous support
Continuous support in the form of cooking confidence sessions, shopping trips, consultations, emails, video calls and phone calls are all personalised for each client, in both style of support and frequency of contact.
Having no prescribed format means we can truly work together in creating the best fit for clients, their needs and available resources.
